The shower started at a perfect temperature, then turned completely cold within a minute and dwindled to a trickle. I had shampoo in my hair, so standing there freezing was a real problem. At the desk, I waited seven minutes before noticing a woman sitting in the corner behind it. When I got her attention, it was clear she didn't care. The cold water was bad, but her attitude was what made me leave this review. I checked out a day early and moved to another hotel. I know good help can be hard to find, but she wasn't it.

We had a spacious room, considering I was traveling with two small boys, and it was kept very tidy throughout our stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast was great too. Hats off to the team!

We were in town to see family over Christmas and would stay here again next time we're back. The rooms were clean and tidied every day, even on Christmas Day, which surprised me. The staff were pleasant, the location made getting on and off the highway easy, and a hiccup we had was handled without any trouble.

Beds were comfortable, the place smelled great inside, and there was no riffraff in the parking lot. Breakfast was delicious, and Sue the cook was especially helpful, going out of her way to make the meal a great experience. Kudos to Sue. For a comfortable stay at a reasonable price, I'd recommend this place. Thank you, Fairfield Inn Richmond! May the Lord continue to bless you all!

My reservation ran into problems, and I needed help, but the manager wasn't available. The front desk staff couldn't work through the system well enough to sort it out, which left confusion about my stay and whether I qualified for rewards. More staff training and access to management support would make a real difference.
