The beach access is a big plus: there’s a public walkway right across the road, and finding public parking near the beach is almost impossible. We also got a discounted pontoon rental because we booked a room. We stayed a week in February 2021 in an upstairs unit with a small bedroom, two double beds, a little kitchen, and a living area. It was very clean and well equipped, with cookware and a full-size fridge. They even provided beach towels and chairs. I’d definitely stay again if we get the chance.

We happened to arrive the day they reopened, and we were lucky to find the place. The staff were really helpful, and the location is amazing, with the beach and boat rentals right nearby. It can get a little noisy, but it’s very convenient. Our one-bedroom apartment had everything we needed. The only thing that stopped me from giving five stars was a chemical smell in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was all very nice. I’d definitely recommend it.

Getting to the beach takes about two minutes via Access #8, and there’s a nice grill restaurant within walking distance. The price was reasonable for the location. My one-bedroom had a full kitchen and even a recliner, plus picnic tables downstairs and on the upstairs deck for eating outside. The place is modest, relaxed, clean, and comfortable. Beach gear, books, and puzzles are available in the laundry room on the honor system. You can rent a pontoon on site or fish right in the canal. I’m so glad I found it. It was perfect for a retreat.

This is the sort of place people return to year after year. It’s family owned, quiet, comfortable, and handy for both the beach and the channel, with pontoon boats available to rent on site. My unit had a bedroom, living room, full kitchen, and even a recliner. There were two beach chairs in the closet, and you could borrow an umbrella, noodles, books, puzzles, games, and extra towels from the shared laundry room. Beach Access #8 is right across the road, so the location couldn’t be better. Picnic tables are available on the ground floor and near the second floor, where you might catch a glimpse of the surf. Big Hickory, a friendly bar and grill, is about a 10-minute walk away. Other options, including a Publix, gas station, and pharmacy, are a 5-10 minute drive.

The room was clean and had a full kitchen, which made it easy to come back from the beach or a boat outing and make lunch or just relax. It’s also well placed near several parks and beaches. This family-run business has extremely helpful staff, and you can rent a boat or take a bay tour if you enjoy fishing and boating.
