Harborage Inn on the Oceanfront

Breakfast is included, and it was amazing. Each night a menu arrives at your door so you can choose what you want, and you get to eat on the deck. The food was absolutely delicious. Our room was nicely appointed, with good windows, a big comfy bed, electric fireplace, a good-sized fridge and even a towel warmer in the bathroom. The view was amazing, and the staff was wonderful. We stayed three nights for a quick weekend and could walk into town for shops and food. This is the place to stay in Boothbay. We’d come back.

We stayed in Room #3 at the Harborage Inn during the off-season and had a great experience. It was right on the harbor, with restaurants and downtown shopping an easy walk away. We loved having fresh breakfast delivered to our room each morning. I’d highly recommend staying here when visiting Boothbay Harbor.

We booked just a few weeks before arriving and weren’t sure what to expect. We had to switch rooms after the first night, which we thought might be tricky, but the move was seamless while we were out enjoying Monhegan island. We started in room 8, with generous harbor views, then spent the second night in room 6. At low tide the harbor was all mud, but that couldn’t be helped. We actually preferred the smaller room 6. Both rooms were spotless, lovely and had extremely comfortable beds. The daily breakfast was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and all the shops and restaurants were about a two-minute walk away. It was a great stay!

The kids loved exploring the decks and property by the water, and the staff were so warm and patient with our three wild kids. We really appreciated their kindness. The hot tub overlooking the harbor was another highlight. Each morning, they brought a delicious breakfast right to our room. The Harborage Inn is beautiful, well maintained and has amazing views. It was a perfect base for exploring Boothbay, with everything walkable. We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to return. This is the only place we’d stay.
