There are only eight rooms, so the place feels more like a little community than a hotel. It has a shared barbecue area, a community resource cabinet, a small lending library, and a couple of bikes for rent. There's no TV, but the night sky and beautiful desert nature make that easy to forget. The free Wi-Fi was good for messaging and email, which was what I needed to keep in touch with my group. Rooms are small, cozy, clean, and suited to one or two people. The manager was helpful and quick to respond. It felt safe, and it was quiet and affordable. The walls are a bit thin, so muffled conversations carry, though that's common in hotels and motels.
