We only needed somewhere to sleep, and this place did the job. The beds were comfortable, and the room was fine for our two-night stay. My friend thought the bathroom could have been cleaner, and there was some leftover bread in the kitchen area that looked like a previous guest had left it behind. It seems like cleaning missed it, and I feel no corner should be overlooked. We didn’t spend much time with the staff or need anything beyond a place to sleep, and we ate out. There weren’t many towels, though I was glad I didn’t need more, since other reviews suggest getting extras could be difficult. I’d recommend it if you don’t need much.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was clean with good pressure, and the hairdryer worked. That’s where the positives ended. My husband and I have dietary restrictions, so when we travel for more than a night, I look for a hotel with a kitchen. These rooms have kitchens, but there’s hardly any equipment. A sign lists prices for missing items and warns that housekeeping may charge your card if things are gone, even though most of the items weren’t in our room to start with. The kitchen was nearly useless. There was no frying pan, and the front desk couldn’t find one. The two saucepans were caked with old food and needed steel wool, which I didn’t have. We had no forks, just one drinking glass and two little juice glasses, and no bowls for preparing or storing food. I got a kitchen towel and dish soap, but no washcloth, scrubber, or anything else for washing dishes by hand. There wasn’t a coffee maker in the room either. The lobby machine that was supposed to serve single cups only gave hot water. Someone at the desk found me a coffee maker, but it was so old and dirty I didn’t feel safe using it. We had to rush to a business dinner, and all the effort to get the kitchen set up nearly made us late. We never got coffee. The evening before checkout, I went to exchange towels and was told they were out, so I decided to wash the ones I had. The laundry room had only one working washer, and it smelled awful. The dryers were rusty. I wouldn’t normally put my clothes in either machine, but I needed clean towels to shower early next morning, so I used detergent I’d brought for emergencies. At checkout I told the desk about the problems. The person said the truck hadn’t arrived yet, didn’t seem surprised, and didn’t seem to care that I’d had a poor stay. IHG should take a serious look at this hotel because it isn’t meeting brand standards.

I needed a bed for eight hours before an early morning flight, and the price was right. Check-in was fine, cordial but not friendly, and the airport is conveniently close. The room looked clean otherwise, but it smelled musty. When I turned down the bed, I found hair between the sheets, and a very large roach was scurrying across the bathroom floor. I would have mentioned it at checkout, but nobody was on duty at 3:45 AM. I called out and waited, then had to leave for the airport, so I dropped off the keys and went. I can only hope the bill arrives and is correct. Keep your expectations low if you stay here. I won’t return.

The dishwasher wasn’t working right, and the water smelled really bad. The bed was in rough shape too, with the wires pressing through and hurting when I lay down. I had a poor experience here.
