Horseshoe Bossier City– A Caesars Rewards Destination

The room was spacious and had a great view of the river, and all the staff we dealt with in registration, the café, and room maintenance were pleasant and helpful. But the property really needs updating. The bed linens smelled like cigarettes even though the room was advertised as non-smoking, and the old bathroom lighting made it hard to see while getting ready. I'd avoid rooms near the elevators.

We arrived late after quite a while away from this hotel, and they took really good care of us. The room was beautiful and the bed comfortable. We spent about an hour and a half downstairs at the casino and had a great time. The price was wonderful, and I'll stop here next time we're passing through Shreveport.

It's hit or miss, and I wouldn't recommend going in the early morning. Your odds on the slots seem better when it's packed, and the tables are better then too, though it's still a toss-up. When I go to Bossier, the Horseshoe is the only place I go. Try to get a room in the tower if you can, it adds to the whole experience. Good luck, y'all!

What a change from 2021 to 2026. The room was just okay, with a pop on the floor by the toilet. There was mold in the tub, which didn't surprise us since the bathroom has no fan. The room coffee was one cup of decaf. When I asked the woman on the floor for regular coffee for three people, she gave me five packets, but they weren't for our coffee maker. Silly me, I tipped her as I went, and she complained about people asking for coffee. It took two days to get drinks while we were playing. When we finally had a good waitress, she was awesome. She was the only friendly staff member we had all long weekend. We ate at Port, a walk-up place where you order café style, and paid almost $90 for three meals. We couldn't get points, and it was 2 for 1 to use points. After all these years, Ceasars seems to be trying hard to lose my business. The slots were very tight. The Riverwalk, which we enjoyed last time, should just close because just about every store is shut. I wish they'd put in a walkway across the river so you could enjoy both sides. There are lots of ways to improve the area, but they've let it go way downhill.
