Copley House

I loved my stay, and the staff were great about keeping me updated and answering questions. The room was clean and comfortable. I was on the first floor, where you can hear a bit of noise from the upper floors and neighbors, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs, headphones, or a sound machine. The location was great too, with things within walking distance or a short ride-share trip. I’d recommend it to friends and family visiting Boston.

The location made it easy to walk to local attractions, and the subway and buses were close by for getting around the rest of Boston. The room was clean and well kept. My lower-floor room didn’t get a good internet connection, but the front desk helped me sort it out. Noise was the main downside. The walls are thin, and guests on the floors above were very loud, with what sounded like a large family or kids stomping and running through the day. It wasn’t just housekeeping. I know the hotel can’t control its guests, so I’m not blaming them, but it’s why I gave four stars instead of five. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d come back.

The staff made a good impression. The front desk employee was friendly and helped me out with a toothbrush and toothpaste when I’d forgotten mine. I also liked the occasional texts asking if I needed anything, and the security codes helped the property feel safe. The room was clean and just the right size, with a comfortable bed, private bathroom, and full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, and what I needed for a longer stay. The location is excellent, near a 7-Eleven, grocery store, train station, and the Charles River. I even walked to Boston University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Northeastern University is only a few blocks away. The walls and doors seem a little thin, so you might hear noise sometimes. It didn’t bother me because I kept the AC running. Maybe not ideal for a honeymoon unless you’re happy to provide the neighboring rooms some free entertainment 😂. Great stay, highly recommend.

We had to make last-minute plans to stay in Boston because of a big snowstorm, and we were lucky to find Copley House. The check-in process was easy, the admin staff were friendly and professional, and we felt completely safe. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean, and the bed was super comfortable. My adult daughter and I have nothing but good things to say about our stay.
