Global Luxury Suites at Longwood

I only needed a quiet place to rest before my chemo treatment at Dana Farber, and this booking turned into a huge added stress. I missed the fine print, so that part’s on me, but the advertised rate was $88 and I was charged another $112. I called within five minutes and got no help.

My 4 pm check-in turned into waiting until 5 or 6, with nobody available to contact after customer service hours. When I first called, they said they were working on it and would call once it was sorted. They never did, so I had to try again an hour or two later. I’d just arrived from an overseas flight and was badly jet-lagged. The room wasn’t ready when I was meant to check in, and I was left chasing customer service instead of getting settled. I regretted not listening to all the online comments about how poor their service is. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

My sister was in the hospital nearby, and I’d planned to stay there so I could be close to her. She passed away before I could make the trip. Even though I gave them notice, they still kept my $700 instead of refunding it. Would you want to stay somewhere that handles it that way?

Good value and a convenient location, with a nearby park, lake, and tram stop. It had full family amenities and furnishings, including a bed, couch, dining table, and cutlery for six.
