I spent two nights at 40 Temple St, Suite #9, and it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and well kept, and the free internet worked well. Food options are close, including a convenience store on the same block, though Tufts University and that area are about a 20-30 minute walk away. The location felt safe enough, but there's no elevator, so anyone with mobility issues should know that the building and suites are only accessible by stairs. The window didn't offer much of a view, which didn't bother me. The kitchenette was handy for saving on meals, with two electric burners, a microwave, toaster, mini fridge, and dishes. I also loved the heated bathroom floor, much more than I expected to. Check-in details for the internet are in the email. I had a hard time adjusting the heat because the remote's display was so faded, probably because it needed new batteries. There wasn't a thermostat or another easy control. Once I got the remote working, the heat pump did its job. The walls seemed a little thin, though. I could hear people clomping up the stairs at night, and someone downstairs repeatedly entering the wrong door code for about 30 minutes. Maverick provided two pairs of earplugs, which was a nice surprise, and I used them. I'd stay here again on a return to Boston.

During the night, I hit my head on the ceiling while walking to the bed in the dark and hurt myself. The room's low, sloping ceilings were much lower than the photos or online description suggested, and the cramped, awkward layout made it feel unsafe. No guest should have to worry about getting hurt just trying to reach the bed. I asked management if I could move for the second night, but they said I'd have to pay an extra $80 cleaning fee because the room had already been used. Charging that after I'd been injured by the room's design felt completely unacceptable and showed little care for guests. The two-night stay was uncomfortable and the issue was handled poorly by staff. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

The bathroom's heated floors were lovely, and I liked sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows. There's also a little garden seating area next to the building that adds some charm. My husband and I stayed three nights, and the location is PERFECT, right in the middle of everything. It's easy to walk around or get to the train station. The one annoying detail was the TV, angled away from everything and unable to swivel. But really, just head out and see Boston!

We were in the room for maybe five minutes, and it didn't look like the photos. The floors were much dirtier than shown, and the bed wasn't as described. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this was bad enough that I would avoid booking here. I had an emergency during my stay, and the service team was unhelpful and difficult to deal with. Management and the property team seemed to care only about money. They wouldn't accommodate me or let me change the booking to a different time because of their "policy".

Apartment 4 was warm, and the AC and everything else worked perfectly. They provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and coffee. A bottle of water might have been useful, but it wasn't essential. Check-in and checkout were seamless and very convenient. The park and station are nearby, and the location is good. There was some car noise outside since the apartment is on the first floor, but that's not really anything to do with the apartment itself.
