The apartment was dark, felt old and humid, and seemed overpriced and poorly maintained. The entrance was quite old too, with smelly carpets. Inside, there was loud noise from upstairs and from a closet containing AC machines. The dining table, the cabinet under the kitchen sink, a plug, and the living room blinds were broken. We were two people who didn’t share a bed, but there was no second bed or bedding to be found. I tried calling the manager for over an hour without an answer. They only sent messages with flimsy excuses, like connection failure or being unable to answer. After more than an hour, the only solution was a picture of the closet where the sheets were kept and a maintenance visit to fix the table. Was it the apartment shown in the pictures? Yes. Did it look like them? Absolutely not. Awful experience. Stay away and don’t make the same mistake we did.

Thank you to the Evonify Stays management for helping us through a couple of setbacks. We were told our condo had been canceled, but Evonify quickly confirmed a new one for us. Then another problem came up shortly before arrival, and they made sure we were taken care of. The condo was clean and accommodating, and management was helpful throughout. They replied to our text messages quickly and helped make our Boston vacation and family visit go smoothly. We had a great time in Boston and thoroughly enjoyed our marathon. The service was extremely poor, and they barely responded to our concerns. We were a family of four and had been told the sofa was a sofa bed, but it wasn’t. We ended up on the floor and couldn’t even get blankets or a sheet from them. There was no soap or hand wash, so we bought our own toiletries. We booked months ahead and had asked early for a room less exposed to street noise, but got a poor quality first-floor corner unit on the street. The windows were broken, and there were mosquitoes in the unit. A poor experience for our first time in Boston.

We had a memorable stay in a great location, right across the street from Boston Commons, with so much of the city within walking distance. The apartment was a little old but had everything we needed. Finding the Airbnb was frustrating at first because the listing had the wrong address, but Evonify replied quickly, fixed the address issue, and genuinely wanted to make sure we had what we needed. Great customer service, and I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to walk around the city.
