The fresh food tastes homemade, the wine selection is huge and nice, and there's patio seating. I make a point of stopping whenever I can, especially after visiting Hoover Dam and before heading back to Vegas. It feels like stepping out of the desert into a California winery bistro in Napa Valley.

We always stop at Milo's when we're in Boulder. The food is great and the service is friendly. It's always been an amazing place to eat.

The new owner has already brought fresh life to this long-time, quaint wine bar and made the atmosphere more comfortable. It had grown a little complacent and lost some of its allure before. The food is fresh and new, the service is amazing, and changes are happening. The wine is still the wine. Go see the place, relax with friends, listen to a little music, and have a bottle!

Across two cross-country trips, this has easily been my best little find. There was an initial faux pas, but it was minor. The location and ambiance more than made up for it. The courtyard is enchanting, and with the water dipping into the pond in the evening, you can almost forget you're in the desert. It's right in central downtown Boulder City, so be prepared for alternative parking. The entrance is odd, tucked into an alley, but don't let that put you off. Once you open the door, you're transported. I've never traveled anywhere quite like it.
