Days Hotel Boulder

The room was okay and very clean, but everything was white and the blankets and bedding smelled strongly of bleach. I woke up congested, and that smell is the reason I wouldn't stay again. The advertised free continental breakfast wasn't available. The location was okay, but felt like a neighborhood and wasn't really close to anything. It worked for a last-minute stay.

Ari, the general manager, was so kind and helpful, and we appreciated him and his staff. The location is great, just a short drive from Pearl Street. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we even had a mountain view. Breakfast was included, so before our hikes each morning we could grab coffee, fruit, and whatever else we wanted. The gym is new, and I loved filling my water bottle at the filtered water station. We'll definitely come back!

Check-in was quick and efficient. There was a strange smell in the elevator and halls, though the rooms didn't have it. The closet is small, and the hanging rod sits so low that a long item like a dress won't fit.

I stayed for a full week, and the service kept me from giving this a better rating. One evening, I had a very uncomfortable interaction with a staff member. I don't know if he was tripping on something, but I couldn't pay for my snack for about 15 minutes while he rambled. The rest of the staff seemed unmotivated, like they were just there to collect a paycheck. One person who checked me in was good. Maybe this was just my experience, but it added up to a 3 for the stay and a 2 for service.
