We booked at the last minute on a whim, and I'm so glad we did. The huge room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I haven't slept that well in a while. We didn't try the restaurants, but breakfast at the adorable French bakery across the street, Marionette!, was awesome. The giant hot tub and pool were great, and the gym was decent. Everyone was attentive and eager to make our stay pleasant. The hotel was an easy walk to Pearl Street Mall and very close to CU Boulder, where we were seeing a play. We took a Lyft to avoid campus parking, and it was super cheap because it was such a short ride. They even had turndown service, something I haven't seen in US hotels for a long time, even very nice ones. A lovely touch. We felt so cared for and will be back!

A tasteful boutique spa hotel right in downtown Boulder, close to fine dining, shopping, and the Boulder Creek Trail. The staff were courteous and accommodating. The lounge and bar were great, with lively entertainment Friday night. Brunch at Jill was delicious, with hearty portions and prompt service. Just right for a ladies weekend!

The St Julien Hotel & Spa gives you a real feel for Boulder, with the Pearl Street Mall and Boulder Creek Path just steps away. The hotel's environmental stewardship and zero-waste efforts fit the character of the city, and make the stay feel good in that respect. Service set a high bar from the moment we arrived. The staff combine professional "four-diamond" precision with warm hospitality that feels authentically Colorado. The valets are attentive, and the concierge team seems to know every hidden trailhead. They make you feel like a local regular. Jill’s Restaurant & Bistro stands out for its sustainable, "farm-to-table" approach and regional organic produce. Having dinner on the Terrace as the sun sets behind the iconic Flatirons, with live local music and a well-made cocktail from T-Zero Lounge, is a classic Boulder moment. If you're after luxury that feels rooted in its surroundings, this is the gold standard.

My facial was awesome, but the 80-minute “deep tissue” massage was a letdown. I paid $700 expecting relief for the problem areas in my back, which we discussed beforehand, and he never worked on them. I chose a male therapist hoping he’d really get into those spots. I left upset and disappointed, and had to try to work the knots out myself. If you want a real deep tissue massage, go somewhere cheaper.

The Easter egg hunt was such a sweet addition, and made the morning feel thoughtful and family-friendly without going overboard. We were at St Julien Hotel & Spa for our niece’s very first Easter, and the day felt special from start to finish. The Buffet Brunch had a great selection and everything tasted amazing. It was also calm and well organized, which can be unusual for a holiday brunch. Service was smooth, too, and made it easy to enjoy being out with family. We’ll be back for another holiday or brunch. It really lived up to the hype.
