Courtyard by Marriott Bowie

The general manager offered to make pancakes for my daughter when we found out the bistro downstairs didn’t serve them. She was thrilled, and they were great! The room and hotel were nice, and the service was fantastic.

All the staff were kind, the room was very clean, and both check-in and checkout were easy. We ate at the bar/restaurant on Jan 9th, and Demetra was a friendly, helpful server. The food was excellent at dinner and at breakfast on the 10th and 11th, where the gentleman serving us was sweet and helpful. The manager at the bar/restaurant on the 10th was caring and kind. I can’t find the receipt to remember her name, but we were in Bowie for a funeral and she gave us a little something to toast goodbye. The location was perfect for me since I grew up in the T-section and come to Bowie now and then. This is our go-to place now. Thank you Courtyard by Marriott Bowie! I used to be a hotel AGM and now work as a Concierge at a senior community, so I know what good service looks like, and this was excellent.

Mike, the night manager, really loves his job and is wonderful with customers. We talked about the EV charging stations. He said he hadn’t used them much, so after I tried one, I came back with information about how it worked. He was genuinely interested in learning for future guests. All the employees were friendly and accommodating. I’ve stayed at this location several times over the years, and it’s my favorite in Maryland. My family lives in the new apartments across the lake, and I’ll be back.

We visited over the Christmas holidays and had a nice stay. The rooms were clean, though I wish they had microwaves. I’d definitely recommend this location and stay here again.
