We arrived late from a church student conference, around 11 p.m., exhausted after a busy day and coming from the Eastern Time Zone. The staff’s kindness and cheerful mood made the common area feel welcoming while we gathered there. Our rooms had clearly been prepared with care: the pullout couches were already opened, water was provided for our group, and there was a personal welcome card for our church. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a decent selection, even if it wasn’t as extensive as Hampton Inn and Suites. We were there briefly, so I didn’t get to try housekeeping, the pool, or the fitness center, but it was a good stay and I’d recommend the hotel.

I travel to Kentucky for work often and stay here whenever I’m in the area and can. The rooms are consistently clean, convenient for the arcades I visit, and I know what to expect. Tonight I first booked the Comfort Suites in Hopkinsville, Ky, and regretted it when I found bedbugs and got out of there. At 10:30 p.m. I called Home2 Suites, and luckily they had one room left. The 1.5-hour drive from Hopkinsville was worth it. The freshly renovated room was lovely, and the bed super comfortable. Special thanks to Brandi, who’s usually the person I talk to when booking and is always friendly in the morning when I check out and get my receipt. Thanks, Home2, for making a hectic night more comfortable. I promise I won’t cheat on Hilton again.

The kitchen made the room feel like home, especially the dishwasher and the toaster oven. The sliding bathroom door didn’t lock, though. My son loved the pool, the gym was nice, and everything was clean, organized, and tidy. The staff were phenomenal, very kind and helpful, and they knew we were homeless. Breakfast was very good, with meat and eggs as well as bread and cereal. When the phones weren’t working one day, the woman at the front desk let me use her personal phone for some very important calls, even though she didn’t have to. My boyfriend and son had a little trouble connecting their gaming systems to the internet at first, but after fiddling with it and doing his homework, my boyfriend figured it out. Prices were doable, and the stay was great. Manager Valerie was very helpful and nice and does a great job running the hotel. I’d highly recommend it to friends and family and look forward to visiting again.

For homecoming in Bowling Green, this has been my home away from home for three years running. I have no plans to stay anywhere else for now. The staff are attentive and accommodating, and they let my friends and me have a good time during our stay.
