Holiday Motel Ocala Downtown I-75

The heat didn’t work, the TV was broken, and the blankets were dirty. My kids got very sick after three days at this hotel. I’m never coming back. Worst money I ever spent.

I ended up staying here for 10 days last month. The price is pretty high, though I suppose it’s about average with everything costing more these days. It’s a kind, family-run place. They were understanding when my boss hadn’t sent the money for the day. They let me stay until my husband got back that night with his Cash App card to pay for the next 2 nights the boss had sent him money for. I got clean towels and linens every other day, and the room was impressively clean.

It was cold and raining when we reached Ocala, Florida, late at night, and many motels were full or too expensive. The Holiday Motel worked well for us: simple but affordable at $80 including tax, with a clean bathroom, comfortable clean bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and plenty of outlets. There was no phone or coffee, but it did have a TV, microwave, and fridge. We slept well. We didn’t see any bugs, and the staff were extremely helpful. They let us look at the room before paying and brought us a space heater and blankets. I can’t speak to the negative reviews from months earlier.

The rooms are affordable and clean, and the owner is nice whenever I see him. I’ve always had a good experience here. There’s never been any worry about drug deals or loitering. I’d recommend it to my family.
