There were black hairs on the hand towels too, and on the sheets I found several dark black pubic hairs when I pulled back the blanket. My husband and I both have different hair. The front desk person acted like he didn’t know what I meant, didn’t send housekeeping or ask if I wanted another room, and only offered a fitted sheet. Then my husband left to drive Uber, and when he came back, someone had let themselves into the room while I was there with our sleeping child. Our clothes, which we’d changed out of to use the pool, had been put in the bathtub. I won’t stay again, and hotels.com will hear about this. Bring your own towels: if they think you stained theirs, they charge about $10 per towel, $20 per sheet, and $10 per pillowcase. They also require a cash deposit before you can get a room, then charge $10 per extra guest out of it. If they suspect there’s any cigarette ash, you forfeit the $100 deposit.

After we’d paid in full for a 3 day stay, we found the room covered in bed bugs. It was room 171. They were in the toilet, fridge, bed, and couch. We’d already brought our belongings in, and my daughter was asleep. We were moving and needed a place to stay in between, with me, my husband, our two children, one a baby. The staff were rude, yelled at us, and wouldn’t help. It took over an hour to get our refund, after they kept refusing, called us names, and basically said we were liars, suggesting the pictures were from somewhere else. We ended up taking them to the room so they could see for themselves. We had to spray and bag our stuff and throw a lot away. They said a company sprays to treat the room, but bed bugs can’t be gotten rid of with a one day spray. They kept our deposit. I travel often and am not picky about hotels, but this is the worst one I’ve ever stayed in. I’d recommend sleeping in a Walmart parking lot before staying here. I highly doubt they’ll treat it properly, and the room will probably be available again tomorrow. There were plenty of roaches and other bugs too.

This definitely isn’t a 4 or 5 star hotel, but the pool area is nice for kids, with a hot tub and comfortable pool seating. We had a pool view room and could walk straight out to the pool, which is open until 10pm. There’s also a kiddie pool with 1' water. I recommend it for kids.

For a standard hotel, the rooms are really nice. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, and this is the best one in Bowling Green Kentucky. I remember when I was little, this hotel was ringing down. There are a few odds and ends that need fixing. Last night, I noticed one of the glasses in the swimming pool area was missing, maybe knocked out or something. That needs to be fixed, but otherwise it’s the best one ever.
