Super 8 by Wyndham Bozeman

Miranda at the front desk was VERY rude. My family and I were trying to enjoy ourselves in the lobby and breakfast room when she yelled at us. We politely asked her not to yell at us for laughing, and she rudely told us to go to our room. It was the worst experience I've had. The other workers were fine, very polite and helpful.

The breakfast had a nice mix of options, from eggs with biscuits and gravy to pancakes, cereal, yogurt, and some strong hot coffee. The rooms were clean too. A small improvement would be a TV guide in the room. The online one works, but checking it again and again to find a channel gets old. If you're staying overnight in Bozeman, I'd recommend the Super 8. They also have washers and dryers if you're there for more than one night.

I’ve tried both this Super 8 and the Motel 6 across the street, and this one is the better stay. The rooms are large and super clean, and the price is very low. I can afford the expensive Bozeman hotels and have stayed in them before, but I don’t see a reason to when this place works so well. I’ll keep coming back whenever I’m in town.

I liked the breakfast buffet, with biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausages, toast, pancakes, and coffee. The website’s “free breakfast item” description makes it sound much smaller than it is. I also saw guests using the first-floor washer and dryer, though I didn’t need them. The only thing that kept me up one night was a leaky bathroom faucet dripping. The fan that runs all the time in there is a nice touch, though, since it keeps moisture out of the bedroom. I stayed three nights in late October 2025 in a nonsmoking queen room on the third floor. It was generally quiet, and other guests were considerate, though I could hear water running and TVs as I passed their rooms. My room had the usual basics, including a TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffeemaker, closet, and even a safe. I was glad to find a bathtub instead of a walk-in shower. Had I known, I might have brought bath bombs. There wasn’t much to see out the window, but the area isn’t scenic anyway. The location is handy, with the highway ramp right beside the hotel. There’s free parking if you have a car. I didn’t, so I walked about 15 minutes to the Walmart bus stop and caught the free Streamline. The blue line goes to downtown Bozeman on weekdays and weekends. The pink line goes to downtown Belgrade and has a stop somewhat near the airport, but doesn’t run on weekends. The walk to Walmart was manageable even in the snow. There’s a Mexican restaurant and McDonald’s next door. The hotel also sells snacks, instant ramen, and soft drinks, but Walmart is close, so I’d only use that overpriced snack bar if I were hungry at midnight. This felt like good value, and I’d recommend it for a Bozeman visit.
