The building and guest room were in excellent condition, and the spot on the edge of town is nice and quiet while still being within walking distance of downtown. A few basics were missing or not well maintained, though. There was no fridge or microwave in the room, and the A/C had a note asking guests to keep it above a certain temperature. It’d be better to repair or replace it than ask paying guests to limit an amenity. We sat by the firepit, but there was no fire. The front desk worker was right there and didn’t take the initiative to address it.

The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the carpets were soft and clean enough that I even felt fine walking barefoot, which is unusual for me. The water stayed hot, so showers were great. Service was also really good. The employees seemed to care about us and our stay, and at check-in they reminded us several times that there was no fridge or microwave, but said they’d gladly provide one if we needed it. A few things to know: the building has three floors and no elevator, so stairs may be an issue. The walls are thin, so bring earplugs or a fan. The room listing calls the TV a smart TV, but it isn’t. The $20 parking fee is posted on the website, so I was fine paying it.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were really great. I liked the cute hotel, especially the lobby and coffee bar. I’d stay again if I wanted to be close to downtown. The coffee bar doesn’t open until 7am, and I wish it opened at 6. There were hardly any USB or C outlets, which was a big downside since I didn’t have a charging cube to plug into a regular outlet. The $20 parking charge also felt like being nickeled and dimed. There’s plenty of parking, so it seems wrong to charge for it. They could just raise the room rate.

The hotel has a comfortable bed, a large shower, and a beautiful renovation, and it’s well located. But the third floor was a hike with our heavy bags after a long vacation, and the lack of an elevator was a big deal for us. There was no refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. An espresso machine is available, but we definitely prefer regular coffee, so offering that or both would be nice. The parking lot was spacious with lots of empty spaces, so I didn’t see a reason for the fee. They could include it in the bill from the start and advertise it, or make it seasonal so guests don’t pay extra during the off season. It felt like an unnecessary way to get more money. The explanation that all downtown hotels charge this fee isn’t very convincing. Be different and offer free parking when there’s room.

I slept great the whole stay, and the staff were friendly. It’s a super cute hotel with great design, and the coffee bar by the front desk is pretty awesome. I’d absolutely book here again next time I’m in beautiful Bozeman!
