Bradenton Beach Club D

A great place, but the pool was bath-water warm and didn’t feel refreshing. There weren’t many kitchen supplies or basic pantry items in the unit, so plan to buy everything if you want to cook.

We’ve spent our family vacation at BBC for five years, but this was our first time on the beach side. Unit D was in very, very poor shape. The blinds and door handles were broken, the patio was dirty and neglected, and the beds and furniture looked like they might have been there since it was first built. It was the Motel 6 of the BBC units so far, though the one Motel 6 I stayed at was much nicer.

The ocean side of this place was a really bad experience for me. The allergens made us feel sick, and that left me angry 😠. I wanted to warn people about staying here. If you're heading to Anna Maria Island, FL, I'd pick somewhere else.

We had to cross a busy street every day, and drivers never seemed to stop. The condo's third bedroom felt more like a closet, with a door that wouldn't shut all the way. Its shower door was defective and nearly sent someone to the hospital. Worst vacation stay I've ever had.
