We reserved several rooms at the Courtyard Sarasota UTC for our daughter’s wedding, and the staff helped hand out Welcome Bags as guests arrived. The morning after the wedding, we held breakfast for family and friends in the hotel meeting room. The whole weekend went smoothly. Monique, Rashay, and the rest of the team were attentive, kind, and respectful throughout. I can’t imagine it going better. I’d recommend the hotel for a special event or simply a stay in the area. Thank you for making the weekend seamless.

I didn’t feel safe here. While we were in the hot tub, my son noticed a light and electrical chord floating in the water. The elevator shook every time we used it during our first two days. On the third day, it started bouncing up and down as we were getting off on our floor. It was frightening, and felt like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

We’re Ambassador level with Marriott and stay at plenty of different hotels. This one was a gem: spotless, in a great location, and very well managed. The staff were especially helpful and friendly, and our stay was great in every way.

That paper towel dispenser in the men’s bathroom gives you more than enough sheets. Stephanie at the lobby bar is fantastic too. Thanks for a nice stay, I’ll be back.

10/10
I come here several times while traveling back and forth for business. It’s extremely convenient for visiting the area, with restaurants all around, shopping nearby, and UTC mall close by. If you’re looking at homes in Lakewood Ranch, it’s a great place to stay. Despite all that nearby, the hotel is very quiet. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, the little bistro’s food is really good, and the bartender is so kind and considerate. Rooms are clean and spacious.
