Hampton Inn & Suites Bradenton Downtown Historic District

Summer was a bright spot at check-in. We were worn out from traveling, and she kindly got us into a room early and welcomed us warmly. But the room itself was in rough shape for more than $350 a night. The entryway had water dripping, and we had to slam the sagging door or lift it to get it shut. The shower drain cover wasn’t fixed in place and came off if bumped. The building is old and may look maintained at first glance, but the rooms are clearly in disrepair. We came to Bradenton at the last minute expecting a decent three-star stay for the price. Instead, this was the worst part of our trip, and the room’s basic condition was unacceptable.

The king corner room was roomy, spotless, and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by a Hilton upgrade to a river view. The lobby was dressed up for the holidays, with the Riverwalk and plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Breakfast was great, with attentive staff keeping everything clean and stocked. They were cheerful and appreciative when thanked, often replying, “my pleasure.” Manager Spurgeon stood out too. He greeted people at check-in, spent time in the lobby, and talked with guests at breakfast. He was courteous to his staff and pitched in during a very busy breakfast rush. Rebecca welcomed us at check-in even though our room wasn’t ready yet. She offered to hold our bags and suggested nearby places to relax and get refreshments. When we came back, Summer made the rest of check-in smooth and pleasant. The whole team brought warmth, professionalism, and real care. We’d happily return and recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Bradenton.

The team was friendly, professional, and ready to help, and breakfast was fresh and nicely organized. The common spaces were clean and inviting too. Our room was quiet and well kept, a comfortable place to unwind after a long day. The hotel is clean and sits right in downtown Bradenton, near restaurants, the Riverwalk, and local attractions. I’d gladly stay here again and recommend it to visitors.

The hot breakfast was really good, and they even put a welcome bag with snacks and water in the room. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with updated interiors, high ceilings, and traditional furniture. It’s clean and close to lots of restaurants. I’d book here over the competitors and highly recommend it.
