Milano Lodge - Cozy Retreat

The price reflects the experience, and it may suit you if all you need is an affordable roof over your head. For families with kids, I’d consider a hotel instead because comfort and amenities are limited. The house has potential, but it feels bare bones and some things need maintenance. One bedroom’s ceiling fan didn’t look properly bolted to the ceiling and seemed like it could fall. The dishwasher was heavily rusted, and the AC vents were dusty. They said the AC filters had been changed two weeks ago, but it sure didn’t look cleaned. Bring what you need to cook: the kitchen supplies are very limited. Although there’s a washer and dryer, guests can’t use them unless they’re staying a full week. The decor is basic and budget-looking. They expect you to clean the counters and cooktop, but provide only watered-down hand soap, no chemical cleaner for the job their rules ask you to do. You’ll want extra towels for showering or bathing. They left just 5, and they were the smallest, thinnest, cheapest towels ever. It’s not hard to get 10+ towels for under 200 bucks. It’s an investment. Don’t be cheap! This company sure is.
