Anchor Inn on The Lake Bed and Breakfast

We stayed in the Virginia room and woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the lake. The sheets were the softest and most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, and everything was spotless. Breakfast was just as memorable, baked French toast with pecans and strawberries, served beautifully. Kevin and Jenn were warm, kind hosts. My wife and I had a perfect anniversary here and can’t wait to return.

The breakfast each day was tasty, filling, and clearly made with care, and the view was wonderful too. Kevin & Jen treated us so well and made this a peaceful anniversary getaway for my husband and me. We’ll be back soon. They’ve earned all five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We booked the Virginia Room at Anchor Inn on the Lake Bed and Breakfast while passing through the Branson area on the way home from a rushed trip to SE Texas. It’s spacious, with a large private bathroom. The mattress was firmer than we prefer, but we slept well and woke refreshed for the last leg of the drive. Breakfast was delicious: fruit salad with nuts, followed by quiche with biscuits and jam. We’d recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area.

We spent eight days at the Anchor Inn and left feeling like we’d been staying with friends or family. On our last morning, Kevin and Jen joined us and their daughter for breakfast, and sitting around the table together was a real pleasure. The evening before, they’d also joined us for drinks on the screened patio. They treated us as friends throughout, and a five-star rating hardly seems enough. We were there with friends from South Carolina, while we’re from So-Cal. We’d met on a Viking cruise in Europe, and they were just as pleased with their accommodations. Kevin and Jen said ours was the longest stay since they’d owned the Inn, about four years, and their two-year-old daughter Emma is a darling. Our Maryland Room was beautifully appointed and had a hot tub. The whole place was immaculate, and the rooms were made up between 11am and 3pm, so it was always a pleasure to come back after a day out. Jen cooked breakfast at 9am every day, with something different each time, delicious and more than enough. The grounds and lake views are lovely and well kept. Another guest brought a fishing pole and caught bluegill and bass from the small dock. The sheets were so soft that my significant other called our friends’ room and told them to “pet the sheets.” You’ll get it when you stay there. This was the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Our time at the Anchor Inn was as good as we could have hoped for, and then some. We’ll definitely return. Have a wonderful stay in Branson.
