Bar M Resort & Campground

We spent a few days at the campground after a family wedding and it worked really well for our gathering. There was a place to cook and a refrigerator, plus lake access, a pool, and a game room. We had a campfire, and during the day we could do things together or head off in our own directions.

We held a big event here from September 5th through September 7th and had a wonderful time. The rooms were great, the staff was friendly, and at least 200 people enjoyed themselves.

There was plenty to do, and it was all close by. We fished, had a campfire, played pool and ping pong, swam, used the hot tub, threw horseshoes, played basketball, and grilled some great food. It’s a nice mix of wilderness and practical covered barbecue areas with large grills. The game room was fun at night and handy when it rained hard. The bathrooms were clean, with good showers, and you don’t have far to go for anything. The resort employees kept the property clean and helped with what we needed. Banny made the stay awesome from day one, checked in now and then, answered our questions, and went above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Banny! You’re the best. Matt, Jen, Kyle

Cape Fair canceled our reservation without calling, while our camper was loaded and family was already on the way. Jeanine and Gary were incredibly kind and managed to fit us in. The grounds are beautiful, the pool was clean and refreshing, and the boat slip was a nice bonus. We’ll stay here again. Thank you, Bar M!
