Lakeview Inn

We rented two rooms, and one hadn't even been cleaned. There were dirty towels left by the previous guest and a sweat smell on the bed. We also left with multiple bedbug bites all over our bodies. The place smelled horrible as soon as we walked in and was in poor condition. I don't recommend it. The conditions are so bad this place should be shut down.

Max runs the hotel, or maybe owns it, I'm not sure. He's a nice guy, and I like how he thinks. We've stayed here several times, and I believe the place is improving. It was the cheapest room we could find, $40 in the off season for two beds, away from Branson, Missouri traffic. Face it, Branson has traffic year-round. The hotel is close to silver Dollar City. There are no longer weekly or monthly rates, and those people have moved out. Take a look at the rooms first and consider what you're paying compared with other hotels at this time of year. There was no room service in the off season, so you'd need to exchange things at the lobby. The walls are thin, and it's an older hotel.

For the price, it was clean and the beds were soft and comfortable. They had rooms available when nobody else did. It could use some updates and paint, then it would be awesome. I'd stay again and plan to.

Awful. Stratford house was ten times nicer and cheaper. The floors were extremely dirty, the place was run down, and the bedding was stained. Barely the basics. I wish I’d slept in my truck instead of wasting my money.
