Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites

Getting in and out by car can take extra time because of Branson traffic, so expect to wait a few minutes when you arrive or leave. Even so, we’d definitely stay again. The hotel was good for the money, with a clean room and plenty of towels. Breakfast was excellent, and the crew were friendly and did a thorough job cleaning up. The breakfast room is small and fills fast, so go early if you want to find a table. The A/C took a while to cool the room, but it eventually did. We liked the pool and hot tub, and the pool was warm enough for swimming.

Breakfast was very good, and the women who handled it in the morning were great. The room had a couple of issues: the pillows were very worn and flat, and the door wouldn’t latch unless you gave it a firm shove. We usually pick Best Western because the rooms tend to be nice for the price, but this location felt about on par with other Best Westerns nearby while costing around $40 more per night. Calling it a Plus compared with a regular Best Western feels like a stretch, especially since the pool was pretty disappointing. I should have checked the photos before booking. It’s still better than many hotels in the area, but I don’t think I’d pay that price to stay again.

The pool was nice, and breakfast was yummy. My favorite thing was the automatic pancake maker. The bathroom in our king suite was a little small, but we managed. Staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and smelled good each time we walked in. We stayed this weekend and would come back in the future.

The staff were nice, and this BW is in a great spot for exploring downtown Branson, which was my first visit. The building feels old, probably renovated twice, and the carpet is old too. I could see dust on the vents, like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I’d booked and paid for a single room with a jacuzzi, but during the busy morning hours the water wasn’t hot enough.
