Gazebo Inn

I made a quick trip to Branson and called to ask if they had a room. They did, and the quoted price was amazing. The room was clean and spacious, parking was plentiful, and the staff were extremely nice. I didn't eat there, but a continental breakfast is included with the stay. Getting to Highway 76 is easy. I stayed two nights and will be back.

The employee acted as if our arrival was a bother and was extremely rude. When she saw we lived in Arkansas, she told us there was a $100 deposit because we were considered local. The deposit itself was fine, but the way she explained it was very unprofessional. We asked questions and she wouldn't answer, saying she was busy. I've worked in customer service my whole career. If someone asks a question, you take a minute to engage with them. We wanted to see the room before paying the deposit. Once inside, we found black mold in the fridge, white stains on the ottoman, and a dirty floor. Her response was that she was the only one there, as if we were taking too much of her time. She did offer to show us other rooms, but by then I was already pissed. I'd never been treated like that in Branson before. The Christmas sign still being up in March as we pulled in should've been a sign. We'll never come back. Terrible experience!

The front office looked cute and homey, and the staff were friendly. The rooms were another story and definitely need a remodel. The beds were springy and uncomfortable, my socks got dirty from the floor, and the coffee pot was dusty enough that I drew in it. They'd also left a hanger from the previous guest, and water sat in the sink because it didn't drain well. Given the room quality and lack of cleanliness, I won't stay here again.

The stay was great for the price, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed by the free breakfast, though. It wasn't what we expected.
