Palace View Resort by Spinnaker Resorts

We’re here for four nights, and so far it’s all been terrific. The condo was clean and well stocked, and we can’t hear the neighbors. My son has made use of the sauna and workout room, while the family enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. The indoor pool is nice and warm too. The washer and dryer are very small, so I have to do laundry often, but having them in the bathroom makes it worthwhile.

For four days this felt like home away from home. We faced south, looking out over the woods, so it didn’t feel like we were in the middle of Branson. The view was excellent and the kids loved the pool and hot tub. The slow elevators were the downside. My son is handicapped, so we couldn’t take the stairs, and waiting on the hill in 40° weather with the wind blowing got cold.

The rooms were really clean, and the kitchens came fully stocked. We also liked how quiet it was, plus the little playground, indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub. The advertised game room was a letdown: it only had a pool table that you have to pay for and a ping pong table with old paddles and two broken balls. There weren’t any arcade games like the photo showed. Still, we had a great stay.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and from our nice view we saw a doe and her baby visit in the afternoons. But the beds were garbage, the TVs were old, small, and not smart, so we were stuck with basic cable. One couch was completely worn out, not even fit to donate. As an owner here, I was extremely disappointed when I was loading the car to leave and several cleaners came in and out, assuming we’d left while my family members were still showering. It was barely 8:00 a.m., which was highly inappropriate.
