Stay away. I found a dead rat and rat droppings, and the blankets had cigarette burns. The carpets looked like they’d never been cleaned, the TV didn’t work, and there was more wrong beyond that. In the morning, housekeeping tried to come in at 8 a.m., even though checkout was at 11. I booked a king bed but got a double room. The person who checked me in had made it sound like there weren’t any rooms. At checkout I told the front desk about everything disgusting I’d experienced, and he said I should have asked to move, as though another room would be any better. #WYNDHAM IF YOU SEE THIS, PLEASE VISIT AND YOU’LL SEE IT SHOULDN’T OPERATE UNTIL ALL THESE ISSUES ARE FIXED. People stay here and can’t believe it. Definitely won’t be back.

I paid an extra $25 to check in early, but the room still wasn’t clean and had cigarette burn holes everywhere. It was a smoking room, and we were given only two bath towels and two washcloths. When my husband asked for more, he was told we had to hand over the used towels first. The housekeeper also said she couldn’t give us any without his approval. He went to the office, but the manager/owner wouldn’t open the door because he was with a friend. There were bugs in the bathroom, no outlet faceplates, and no extra toilet paper. The roll was only a quarter full and maybe had been stuck in the peephole. We paid for two nights but left after one. The price is ridiculous for what you get, and I’m appalled this is a Wyndham property. This is the worst of the worst. Do not stay here.

No breakfast here, but the coffee was excellent. Our room was clean, the A/C worked great, and we slept well in very comfortable beds. The bathroom door handle didn’t work. I was traveling to Alabama with my teenage grandchildren and service dog, and the hotel served our purpose.

The only thing going for this place was its convenience to the interstate. The room cost a lot for what it was, and it could definitely use renovations. Marijuana from the last guest lingered, and whenever the A/C kicked on, I thought someone was smoking a blunt. The bathroom was so funky I was afraid to shower, and the bed cover looked and felt like it had been there since the 80s. It was a huge waste of money. I’d keep driving even if I were falling asleep at the wheel. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I wish I could give it zero stars.
