#1715 Tannenbaum II - Right on the River, Super Close to Quicksilver Lift and Walk to Main! 2 Bed, 3 Bath, Perfect Condo for Ski or Summer Getaway!

We loved the tucked-away feel of this place, especially with town still an easy walk away. From condo #204, we had a beautiful river view, and it was spacious enough for our family of six. The wash room is in the front building rather than in the unit, but it’s only a short walk and worked out fine. The Columbine pool, hot tub, and clubhouse were also easy to reach on foot. We really enjoyed our stay.

You can see the creek by walking around the back, though you’ll have to cross snow. The place itself was really nice, but there isn’t much parking and nobody clears the snow out front. Be careful where you leave your car, think about what kind of car you bring, and wear good shoes.

We stayed at Tannenbaum 2, unit 21, which was for eight people, though we booked through Airbnb and Ski Country Resorts managed it. They were horrendous. They insisted a mini fridge was enough for my family of six for eight nights, then said I could move out that same day with my 80-year-old father-in-law and three kids. They had nowhere for us to go, but told me I was “welcome to look.” Their bottom line is all that matters. Worst experience ever. Please never do business with them.

It was a good place for our large group of first-time skiers, and the property was clean with no extra frills. The ski-in, ski-out setup was pretty good. One Friday, though, parking lot clearing caused a problem and there was no other parking available. We had to leave the car about 25 minutes away and take two bus transfers back.
