I normally only choose Extended Stay locations when I have to, so this one was a pleasant surprise. Extended Stay America – Laredo – Del Mar was exceptionally clean, and the staff were welcoming and professional. The location is convenient, close to everything you might need. It was a comfortable stay, and I’d recommend it.

At $121 a night, this wasn’t worth it. The coffee was bad and breakfast was grab-and-go. The bed was hard, and the blankets were so light I was glad my wife reminded me to bring one from home. The lamps looked like they were from the 1960s, and the place felt old and outdated. Someone tried to get into my room twice. I won’t be back.

I could park my semi in the lot, and the room was clean with working A/C and allowed pets. Natasha, whose name I saw on her tag at the front desk, was extremely courteous and welcoming. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in town.

I won’t stay here again. It was my first time at this location, and when we returned to the room and switched on the lights, there were roaches on the wall and in the bathroom. I was grossed out. There was nobody at reception to ask for another room.

I’ve returned to this hotel several times. Sabrina goes out of her way to take care of my friends’ and family’s needs, with service and a clean room.
