The people running the place were friendly and helpful, and the rear parking lot felt safe and was easy to use. The room was compact, about 12x18, but laid out well, with a comfy full-size bed tucked partly into a corner, a desk, and a good-sized sink and vanity. The small shower worked fine, and there was a mini fridge and good cable TV. Light gray walls and white wood trim gave it a simple, understated look. The small rooms and quaint feel took me back to traveling through Europe years ago. I felt safe staying downtown in Laredo.

We liked the historic decor and the street art around this nice area. Our room was a good size, the beds were comfortable, and the dog-friendly policy was one reason we chose the hotel. We stayed Wednesday night, when many downtown places were closed; it was mostly quiet apart from occasional trains. The next morning we found a cockroach on the wall and another in the water compartment of the flat iron. We mentioned it at checkout, but the woman there seemed not to care. The free breakfast was disappointing too.

The staff were so friendly and amazing, and my room was clean and comfortable. The building has a lot of beauty and history in one place. I highly recommend a stay in this enchanting spot.

We were charged $25 per pet per night for bringing our doggies. The people were wonderful, and the room was lovely. The hotel is in a quiet, pretty historic district, in a neat old building. Thank you so much!

I was there for business and got my work done with the good Wi-Fi. The hotel let me print documents for free, and there's a large free parking garage right behind it, which is a real plus. The beds were very comfy, the AC worked well, and the room was a good size. It's easy to get around on foot, and the staff were amazingly kind and helpful.
