I stopped in Laredo for one vacation night, and was told at the desk it was the last room. They offered it for $219, supposedly discounted from $334, for a Tuesday. Tired and needing rest, I took it and joined IHG One Rewards at check-in, hoping for better service. There was a bug on the bed, the utensils were dirty, and the shower head was broken. I reported it all that night and was told the manager would follow up in the morning. At checkout, they said my “discount” meant I would only receive 5,000 loyalty points. There was no real apology or accountability. I later found out that group events had likely filled most hotels in the area, which may explain the high price. Still, leisure guests shouldn't be treated as second-class customers. We often pay more and deserve a clean room and genuine hospitality. The stay felt dismissive and unprofessional, and IHG should look more closely at how this property treats individual guests. Disappointed. Stay 5/27/25-5/28/25

I loved the room and would definitely stay here again. The only thing I wanted to mention as a heads-up is that on our last night I saw one cockroach under the air conditioner in the living room and killed it. There was also a baby roach in the bathroom between the WC and the bath. I'm not sure if the rain had something to do with it, since we were on the first floor. I'm not very fussy, but they should check the bug issue for other customers. Apart from that, everything was excellent. 🫶🏻

Irene deserves a special mention for making my stay so wonderful with her service. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and having a walking trail right outside was a great extra. I had a fantastic one-night stay and highly recommend it.

The rooms are roomy and come with kitchenettes, including dishes, utensils, and cookware. There's free laundry, a fitness room and gym, plus free dinner Monday through Wednesday. Staff were polite, and the location is convenient, just behind a gas station and McDonalds, close to the airport, shopping, and restaurants. Great value for the money.

The staff are awesome, but the internet is beyond horrible, so I can't give five stars. I can watch TV on my laptop, but can barely send emails on my phone. They told me it would be fixed starting in the middle of last month, and I even saw workers on it, but the quality hasn't changed at all.
