I love the old-fashioned feel of this bed and breakfast. It has its own special charm, and the setting is quiet. You can see the white balcony, one of my favorite downtown buildings, from here. Each bedroom has its own character, so you can choose the one you like. I loved it!

There’s plenty of room to relax here, and the whole visit feels special from the moment you arrive. The Laredo Mansion Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful mix of Victorian and Spanish architecture, with so much inspiring detail. I highly recommend it for its charm and the experience of staying there. There’s nowhere else like it in town. Congratulations, Mr. Gonzalez, on this beautiful property!

We liked the older neighborhood, the park a block away, and how easy it was to walk to places. Our room looked great, and the owner was nice, but the stay was a mix of good and bad. After an eight-hour drive, we arrived to find the owner away and a film crew on site. They were extremely rude and said we weren’t supposed to be there. The owner eventually came and took us to our room. We were told the crew would leave soon, and that breakfast would be burritos in the morning, but the crew was disruptive and the whole setup felt disorganized. We had a dog with us, and the Mansion doesn’t allow pets, which was fine. We went to see a relative in the neighborhood who was dogsitting for us, but their landlord wouldn’t let the dog visit. She told us to ask the Mansion owner to move us to another property that allowed pets. We’d already carried our things upstairs, so it was frustrating, though the owner agreed and moved us across the street. I wasn’t told I’d be charged for the original room as well as our three-night stay at the new place. If I’d known, I would at least have enjoyed the tub that night. I’m still unhappy about being charged twice.

Beto and his Father have brought this gem in Laredo’s historic section to life. The woodwork, colors, exquisite drapes, and incredibly comfortable beds are all lovely, with attention to detail that’s hard to beat. Staying here feels like stepping back to the turn of the century. It’s the best B&B I’ve stayed in, and I own one!

I got the Mexican suite and it was so clean and unique! This place is breathtaking, with beautiful high ceilings and a gorgeous interior. It’s a real mansion, nothing like a hotel or motel. I wish I’d had more time to enjoy it. I’ll come back a day early so I can sit on the balcony with a few beers. I don’t want to leave!
