Getting engaged made this vacation especially meaningful, and River Mountain Lodge is now our go-to in Breckenridge. We had an amazing time, with a breathtaking view from our room and a great location. Skyla at the front desk was so friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived, and all the staff made us feel welcome. We'll definitely come back and make this a yearly trip. Thanks again, Skyla!

The room was spotless and well appointed, and the location was perfect for shopping on main street, dining, or stopping for an afternoon cocktail. Hannah and Carisa made check-in easy and offered suggestions, and helped with everything in between. Supervisor Skyla went above and beyond when we needed to change our reservation. She was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

The location worked out great, with a free shuttle stop across the street for the ski area and plenty of Main Street restaurants within walking distance. Our two-bedroom, three-bathroom cabin was surprisingly roomy and could easily sleep eight. Along with the king bed in the master, there were two twin beds in the second bedroom and two sofabeds. The kitchen had pots, pans, and utensils, and the unit also came with a washer-dryer combo. I took off one star because room service costs extra.

For two people, our first room here felt just right, more like a condo than a hotel room. It had a fireplace and full kitchen, with an outdoor hot tub only a few feet away. Downtown Main Street, with its shops and restaurants, was just a three-minute walk, and there were several buses passing through to the gondola or wherever you wanted to go. The famous Isak troll was a 15-minute walk, and there was a gear rental store right next door. We had a wonderful time and can't say enough good things about this hotel. Highly recommend!
