The location made the trip especially easy. We were near the end of the 4 o'clock slope and could walk about 50 yards to the snow flake lift. Popping back to the room for lunch was easier than getting food on the mountain, and saved us a fortune. It also made bathroom breaks simple. The condo had room for my family of six, nice furnishings, and a kitchen stocked well enough for dinners. There's no pool like at some larger lodges, but after a day out I'd rather relax in a hot tub than swim. Walking into town was simple and enjoyable. A good fit for a larger group.

A great setup for a large family or group of friends, with enough space to be comfortable. Our two-bedroom unit had a California king in the master, a queen in the other bedroom, two bathrooms, a full living room with a king pullout sleeper, a dining room that seats six, and a full kitchen. The washer and dryer inside the unit were especially handy for our 10-day stay during peak season. We paid about $2400. There was a hot tub just outside the master bedroom, and the lift was within walking distance. The place is right in the middle of a National Forest. Check VRBO for good rates.

One stay was enough for me. The top-floor units are bigger, which means so many more people that it gets ridiculous. And on the first or second floor, you hear every step from the renters above because the floors are paper thin, especially when first-time skiers walk around in their boots.

Tyra has several buildings, so give Epic Mountain transportation the street address if you're using it. We stayed at 800 4 O'Clock Rd in B3D. The condo had a few problems, but we had a great stay and could ski in and out. Upstairs, there was a bathroom and a bedroom with four twin beds and one double. Downstairs had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Nice place.

The condo was well equipped and in a nice location, but it wasn't worth the price, and I wouldn't book again. The AirBnB photos made the space look larger than it really was. There was no grill, which I understand for insurance and fire reasons, but the owners hadn't updated the photo.
