I left as soon as I saw the room. There were cigarette burns on the top sheet and ash marks on the bedding, and the bathroom couldn't be used. The towels were old gray, though they must once have been white. The website photo looked nothing like the property. Had I known what it actually looked like, I wouldn't have booked. I told the front desk I couldn't stay and asked for a refund, which I'm still waiting on. Stay away.

We started taking our things back out before I could even put down my last bag. The room had bugs, debris, and other disgusting stuff everywhere. My travel companion has an autoimmune disorder, and just being in that room could have landed him in the hospital. This was the most vile, disgusting motel I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing.

The front desk receptionist was nice and helpful, but the stay was deeply disappointing. After 30+ years of traveling, I've never been somewhere this disgusting. I was afraid to touch the bath towels, and every room I was moved to smelled of cigarette smoke and who knows what else. Most rooms were busy and noisy. Someone who worked there also lived in one of the rooms. I could hear her yelling and whooping at her child through the night. If I could give a negative 5-star rating, I would.

There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance, which was a plus. Davis Market was walkable too, and the Jan Shrem & Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art was nearby. There's also an amusement park close by. The area is a dense cluster of hotels, but I felt safe. I had a wonderful two-night stay.

It was a wonderful, peaceful stay. The workers treated me like family, and when there was an issue with the room I was given, they were there to sort it out.
