The service was outstanding, and breakfast had a nice range of choices. The room could’ve been cleaner, and the bed springs seemed to dig into me when I lay a certain way. I really didn’t like having only sheer curtains on a second-floor window that faced the parking lot. Sorry to anyone who may have seen my “goodies.”

The rest of the hotel was well kept, and my coworker had no issues in his room. Mine had a few cobwebs in the corners, a two-inch tear in the top sheet, and badly mismatched paint touch-ups on the walls. It was a little dirty but nothing major. I’d consider coming back based on this stay, though I might try another hotel first.

The warm pool and great hot tub were the best parts for us. We also loved the comfortable bed, clean room, good breakfast, and all the pillows my husband wanted. It’s one of the best hotels by MCI, and we had a wonderful time. We’ll stay again, though breakfast could run until 9:30 to make mornings easier for guests. A few details could use attention: pool towels should be available at the start of the day, since people needed them at 10:30. The clocks in the rooms and pool area still needed updating for the recent Daylight’s Saving time change. The treadmill didn’t work well and needs replacing. Also, the folder in the room listed different pool hours from the signs in the pool area. The pool actually opened before 10:00 and closed later than the sign said. These may seem picky, but staying top-notch takes attention to the details.

We’ll definitely return. The front desk guy who checked us in around 10 p.m. on 7/19 was polite, accommodating, and great. I can’t remember his name, but after check-in he found a porti-crib and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was hot and fresh, and the breakfast lady was so nice and kept everything in great shape. I used to be a GM at a local property, and this hotel exceeded the expectations I’d formed from other reviews. My only complaints were that people above us or somewhere nearby blasted music and acted obnoxiously, though it was tolerable, and the beds aren’t the best. I see they’re under renovation, so I presume that’ll change soon. Thank you!
