Charm on Main by Ocean Edge

Gillian, the innkeeper, was delightful, and breakfast was a lovely start to the day. The croissant was amazing. We were excited to see the newly renovated Charm on Main, and loved how it turned out. The coastal decor is elegant, with pretty porches overlooking the resort pool and manicured grounds. The location worked perfectly for us.

We were there for a weekend in April 2026, and even though the pool area looked beautiful, we visited too early in the season to use it. I loved that it’s a saltwater pool. Breakfast was more grab-and-go, with the innkeeper bringing coffee to our table. There’s a shared mini fridge downstairs with waters, since the rooms don’t each have one. There’s no restaurant or bar on site, but Ocean Edge is only a couple minutes away by car. We stayed in room seven. It had a private sunroom, a king bed, and our own bathroom with a shower and claw bathtub. The room was beautiful, and the common areas had a historic feel that suited the place. You can tell it was recently redone while still capturing the Cape and islands’ history. Gillian, the innkeeper, was welcoming and accommodating, and made everyone feel at home. She even ran our wedding at Ocean edge a few years ago, which made the atmosphere feel even more welcoming. It was a beautiful stay, and I’d highly recommend it.

I was in a pinch and needed a room after our family reunion drew a bigger crowd than expected. The Charm on Main had just reopened and luckily had space for me. Jan and her team made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’m really glad I found them. They also have the nicest loaner bikes I’ve ever seen, and they’re actually fun to ride!

Looking for a relaxing, adults-only, high-end bed and breakfast? This is the place. The rooms are beautifully furnished, breakfast is homemade and complimentary, and Jillian is so hospitable. I’d give Charm on Main a “10”.
