The sounds around the property made for a miserable night: railroad horns blared every 15 to 30 minutes, for 30 seconds or more, and the fast food drive-through speaker across the parking lot, about 200 ft away, was like a bullhorn until closing. Motorcycles and cars were revving nearby too. Inside, the bathroom door was warped and wouldn’t close, and the toilet seat had dried urine spots. The comforter had permanent stains. The phone was dead, and when I asked for extra towels they only had one. At check-in, their credit card machine took three cards and several tries before completing the charge. I later looked up crime rates in Georgia, and it said Cordele had the highest in the state. We were glad it was just one night on the way to a luxury cabin in Northern Georgia Mountains. We can laugh about it now, but this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, despite staying at Quality Inns many times without problems. Vacationers, beware of this location.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was okay. The train goes by several times overnight and is noisy.

The room was clean and the front desk workers were nice. The property could use some maintenance and updating, though. I could hear the train, but it didn’t bother me at all. :)

The location is the one upside, with several venues and retail stores nearby. But the room was dirty and had roaches. The shower was filthy and drained incredibly slowly, and its clogged shower head meant very low water pressure. The TV was small and poorly positioned, so it was hard to see comfortably from either bed. This place needs serious maintenance and a thorough cleaning. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

After driving 14 hours, we arrived late at night and found bugs in different spots, including by the bed and TV. We had pictures and showed the woman at the desk. She said to leave a phone number so somebody could call, but I still haven’t heard anything. Not a place to stay.
