La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bridge City

When I visit my sister and BIL, this is where I stay, and I’ll be back next week. It’s the best hotel in Bridge City, much nicer than some big city hotels and major chains. The place is very clean and smells good, and the AC cools the room down fast.

La Quinta gave me a five-star stay, with friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms. The views were impressive and gave the place mini-resort vibes. There are several amenities, continental breakfast, and lots of TV channels, from sports to movies. This will be my preferred hotel in Bridge City.

La Quinta isn’t usually our brand, but it was about the only choice in town. The bed was awesome, though the pillows were awful. The AC cranked, which is a must in TX, so we slept cool. Those parts were good. I gave it three stars because the outlet beside the bed didn’t work, and neither did the room phone on that side. I need an outlet through the night, so this was a bad situation. I called the desk on my cellphone to ask about borrowing an extension cord. They said they’d look, but when I called back later, they said they didn’t have one. It’s hard to imagine a hotel having no cord at all, and they didn’t offer to move us. DoorDash and Dollar General saved the day by delivering one with our dinner.

We’re from Houston Tx and have stayed here many times with my husband and son. We’re planning to come back, and Ms Valdez at the front desk is a big reason why. She’s amazing, always kind, positive, and polite. I feel like I’ve made a new best friend and would love to see her and hang out again. She deserves a raise! See you soon, hugs.
