Regency Inn

I was there in June with my grandson. When I went to shower, there was no floor mat, the towels were way too small to dry off with, and the shower head was coming apart. The toilet paper holder was broken, and we had to turn the key hard to unlock the door. While packing to leave, I found a needle and a burnt spoon in a drawer, apparently left by someone who had used drugs. I told the owner, and she said, “I don't know how it happened, we only put good people on that side.” I'm glad my grandson didn't find them.

The room felt cold, dark, and grey, and it was dirty. I couldn't find any towels. The lobby was old and in disarray. I'll be leaving bright and early. If the owners can't improve this place, they should sell it and walk away.

The room was revolting: old food on the floor, mold on the walls, stains in the carpet, and “clean” towels with hair stuck in them. The smell was impossible to describe. Unless you're a drug addict or a prostitute, this “hotel” is no place to stay.

I paid for a week, but they said they couldn't afford to give me fresh towels during my stay. I was told to make do with one bath towel and one face towel until checkout. They also said a single extra roll of toilet paper for the week was all they could provide, and once it was gone, that was it. The place was very unsanitary. Behind the bed, dust and dirt had built up so thickly I could have scooped it up like sand. This place shouldn't be in business.
