Americas Best Value Inn Niagara Falls

We stayed two nights in two rooms for four people, and were very unhappy. The rooms had some floor and paint upgrades, but the outside and hallways were in very bad shape. There was a two inch gap under the room door, so you could hear everything outside, and a lot of hallway light came in. They provided two large and two small towels, but nobody came to clean the room or replace them the next day. When we returned at midnight, the trash and towels were still as we'd left them. There was nobody at the front desk to get replacement towels until the next morning.

We drove seven hours to get here, left our luggage in the room, and went out to eat and see the falls. When we came back, we didn't feel comfortable sleeping there. The sheets had burn marks, the sinks were clogged, and there were tissues, hair, and food on the floor. Someone else's makeup was on the pillowcases. I would have left if we hadn't had kids with us, but they were tired and cranky. Luckily, I had brought my own covers to put over the bed.

The room was still cold when we returned about 10 hours later, even though we'd left the heater on. The hall floors were dirty when we arrived and still dirty after we'd been out. A handyman tried to fix the heater but couldn't get it working. We asked to move to a room with heat and were told they were booked, though there weren't many cars in the lot. He offered a space heater instead. That's when we asked for a refund, but he said he couldn't do that, so we checked out and left. At check-in, the woman at the counter acted like coming out to help was a chore. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I checked in on 02/28/26, and had to use the phone in the lobby to get someone to come check us in. The room had no heat when we arrived. I turned it on to 85 and left for at least nine hours, but it was still cold when we got back. I called the front desk and asked for another room. He said they were booked, but never even came to look at the heater. There weren't many cars in the lot. He offered an old looking space heater that wasn't going to warm the room. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
