My son and I are displaced until I close on an apartment, and human services sent us here. The room was obviously meant for smokers, even though my son is four and has chronic lung disease. When I asked the front desk lady why we’d been put in one, she said they weren’t supposed to do that. I pulled back the comforter and found burn marks on the blanket. Housekeeping said they had no replacement throw. The motel charges $250 for smoking damage, which made me more upset given the room we’d been assigned. The clerk told me that if I wasn’t happy, I could come get a refund for the extra night I’d paid out of pocket and leave. On Monday morning I’m reporting them to human services and whichever agency oversees the site. The attitudes were disgusting, and they treated us like we were less than human.

We travel a lot for hockey and booked this at the last minute for Bristol playoffs because of the snow. We checked in on 2/16/24, and within a few hours I turned on the bathroom light and saw two dozen roaches running around. I took pictures straight away and went to the front desk. They gave me a refund. The hotel and room looked nothing like the pictures online. Everything seemed rundown, with poor maintenance and broken things everywhere. This was by far the worst hotel we’ve stayed in. We were in room 219. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. Zero stars isn’t an option, so do yourself a giant favor and don’t waste your money, unless you want roaches.

We only wanted a quiet night’s sleep during a one-night stop near 95, and we got that. The service was decent, and the small TVs were about what we expected. The rooms felt somewhat run down, like they’d been renovated in a hurry. It was sort of clean, though anyone fussy about neatness may not be satisfied.

We stayed two nights, and after the second day the room had been cleaned and all the linens replaced. That kind of care is rare in budget hotels these days. The staff were courteous, friendly, and eager to help make our stay good. The room was clean and had everything we needed. There wasn’t an iron or ironing board in the room, but I got both with a quick trip to the lobby. I was looking for a low-cost hotel, so I knew there might be some challenges.
