Motel 6 Brockton, MA

I went down to the front desk today around 4-4:30 pm and stood there for ten minutes asking for a towel. The guy sat back there ignoring me, even when I spoke louder and knocked on the window in case he hadn’t heard. A cleaner walked by, so I went to ask her, but she shut the laundry room door and wouldn’t answer when I knocked. Someone else came down for a towel too, and he ignored her as well. It’s unbelievable that you can’t even get a towel to shower. If you want good service, this isn’t the place.

The motel is in a good location, but the rooms aren’t cared for properly. There were roaches in the bathroom and water was leaking through its ceiling. The beds looked made and clean at first, but after one night we saw makeup streaks all over one bed’s pillow, so the sheets clearly hadn’t been washed properly. Judging by the other reviews, I’m already expecting not to get a refund for the poor service, but it’s still disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and we definitely won’t come back.

We arrived at Motel 6 around 2:30 a.m. after 17 hours on the road, but left again before we’d even been there an hour. There were roaches in the room and something scratching inside the walls. We went straight to the front desk, and the clerk agreed the conditions weren’t acceptable. He said we’d get a refund but that we had to go through Booking.com since that’s where we reserved. That was Oct 4th, and we’re still waiting for the money back.

The receptionist was really sweet, so I may come back soon, but the cleaning woman wasn’t honest. I stayed a week and had an attempted robbery. She knocked on my door asking me to pay her there, saying the receptionist had told her to collect it. Later, when I went downstairs to heat my food, the receptionist called to say I hadn’t paid. I told him I had and asked him to wait. The woman came over, denied taking the money, and I said she had. Then she pulled $140 from her chest and said she’d thought it was tips. After that she wouldn’t clean the room, so I cleaned it myself, and she even refused to use paper. You should review your employees. The receptionist told me not to trust them or pay them.
