The Local House restaurant was so good we came back for dinner after brunch. The French toast and snapper were amazing, and the kiwi crush and wake me up drinks were even better. The waitstaff were super friendly too!

We'd only been in South Beach for a week, but after our first dinner at Local House, my wife and I were already thinking about going back before we left. We're self-described foodies, and a truly perfect meal is rare for us. The comfortable atmosphere came from the lighting, music, furniture, and overall look. We ordered pink shrimp to start, then mussels with linguine and snapper with curry sauce. Everything was so well prepared that the fresh, flavorful shrimp, mussels, and snapper could really shine, and the kitchen's approach to each dish was delightful. Every staff member we met was outstanding. If Jacob serves you, his experience, knowledge, and consistently respectful manner will make the meal even better.

At Local House, Bruno gave us exceptional service. The Wake Me Up, an espresso martini with little mini pancakes, was delicious, and the Breakfast Smash Burger is the best burger at the beach. My wife always orders the Lobster Benedict, and I always steal a few bites. It's perfectly cooked and such a treat. The food and service here are always top notch.

We stayed at Local House because it was near our conference, and ate dinner and breakfast there as well as having drinks. The service was exceptional, and Jakob, our server and bartender, was the best. I had the best watermelon mojito I've ever tasted. We highly recommend this place.

The seating was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the service was friendly. The food was outstanding in both taste and presentation, with very fair prices. It's a beautiful restaurant in a quieter stretch of Ocean Drive.
