New Hochatown Lodge

Lexie was so kind and helpful when we arrived around 11:30 p.m. and couldn't find the hotel. She stayed on the phone, calmly talked us to the right place, and made sure we got there safely. Once we arrived, she had everything ready for check-in and even got our key from the locker. Her help made a stressful late-night arrival go smoothly, and she really made us feel welcome. She's also a wonderful mom to a five-week-old baby and still gave us outstanding service late at night. We're very grateful, and I highly recommend her.

We lasted about 30 minutes before my throat started hurting. Then we spotted black mold in the a/c vent and baby roaches on the nightstand, so we left. The room also had roaches, nails sticking out, stains on the bedding and towels, a horrible smell, and drops of some gross substance in the bathroom. The pictures online are nothing like what you actually get. We took photos in case they tried to avoid giving us a refund. At $140 for one night, this was the worst room I've ever booked. It's not livable, and if you care about your health and safety, avoid it. I don't know what happened to this place. For Broken Bow, find one of the cheaper AirBnB's, Vrbo, etc. You're welcome 🙏🏻

No one answered the after-hours number, and there was nobody at the office when we got there. We'd called many times to say we were running late, but couldn't reach the lodge. We ended up driving on to Broken Bow to find a room. I wouldn't book here again or recommend it to anyone. Big 👎

I'm starting to wonder if this reservation is a scam. I haven't stayed there yet, but I can't seem to cancel my upcoming booking. Neither of the two numbers I tried gets answered, and the Chamber of Commerce couldn't give me another number or an email address.
