Woodland Inn

The guests were so nice, and the rooms were cleaned every day. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the location is nice for visiting Niagara Falls.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but these rooms were DISGUSTING. There were stains, holes, and flies everywhere. In the bathroom that was supposedly freshly cleaned, I found used syringes. That’s unacceptable, especially with my toddler staying with me. I told someone about the room, and the manager just removed the syringe and said the flies and everything else were normal. The non-smoking room smelled like a whole carton of cigarettes had been lit at once. I took my baby and left immediately.

At 5am I woke up to two large rats in my room. I called the desk, and the guy said he’d move me in the morning, so I guess I was expected to stay in there with them. After I changed rooms, I could hear rats in the ceiling and walls. This place has a serious rat infestation. It’s a very gross motel, and the rooms are nowhere near as good as the pictures here suggest. I paid cash up front for two weeks and wasn’t given a receipt. The guy wouldn’t provide one, lol, maybe he wants to avoid paying taxes. It’s a welfare motel, and most people there had been placed by social services. Stay away.

The room was a little outdated but worked just right for the night, and it was clean and well kept overall. I felt safe and would stay again. Check-in was easy, and the lady was super nice and let us in early when we arrived.
