Miss Sallie and her brother Ed have made a real gem of an Inn. The place feels incredibly comfortable, and the innkeepers are wonderful people. My evening check-in came with great cheesecake and carrot cake, plus donuts and cookies at the food counter. The rooms are well kept, with tasteful decor, and the breakfast bar stays stocked with good food all day. There’s also an open refrigerator with fruit, drinks, and snacks available around the clock. A good selection of restaurants and bars is within walking distance. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed, thanks to the experience and the people, not because it’s lavish or opulent. Don’t miss it. Say hi to Miss Sallie.

I was in town on business and spent three days at their adjacent property, Storm Lofts. It’s right in the heart of downtown, surrounded by nice shops and restaurants. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, and the people running the place were exceptionally gracious and helpful. It was well appointed, with everything I could need, including a nice breakfast and complimentary snacks. 10/10, I recommend it.

Weekend breakfast is a favorite part of staying here with my family. Shante Johnson makes delicious grits and is so warmly hospitable, it feels like she’s serving you from her own kitchen. We love staying here.

Sally and Ed, thank you for such a lovely stay. The staff were professional and very friendly, and the rooms were really nice and clean. Breakfast was superb, with great snacks available whenever you wanted them. If you’re ever in Brookhave, look no further. I was delighted with everything they had to offer.

I felt welcome from the start, from booking right through checkout. Ms. Sally was absolutely wonderful and made me feel at home. The rooms were super clean, and the lobby was lovely. There was a well stocked breakfast buffet with lots of choices, plus snacks out all day. I’ll definitely stay again.
